The MICENE – MICE Next Evolution is a project funded by the Erasmus + Program with agreement number: 2023-1-IT02-KA220-HED-000159041
The MICENE – Mice Next Evolution project defines and shares objectives, methods, and tools for a model of transnational cooperation between HEIs and actors in the MICE sector from IT, ES, BE, LT, and SI, aiming to establish a stable partnership to design, develop, test, and promote a new HE Curriculum in MICE Management. This curriculum seeks to enhance, among young European students from economic backgrounds, an integrated set of managerial, digital, and green skills, empowering them to become genuine change agents in the MICE sector.
The project implements the following priorities:
- Stimulate innovative learning and teaching practices
- Support the digital and green capabilities of the higher education sector
- Digital transformation by expanding digital preparation, resilience and capabilities
The main objectives of the MICENE project are:
- Co-design a Higher Education (HE) curriculum in MICE Management in collaboration with HEIs and MICE industry businesses.
- Develop Microlearning modules and Narrative branching scenario to enable students to acquire digital, green and managerial skills.
- Create a MICE Teaching Manual on transformational team coaching and work-based teaching, to be piloted in a hybrid mobility programme for the benefit of 24 educators.
- Pilot the MICE Management Curriculum with 80 students from HEIs across 4 EU countries.
