The project aimed to improve access to and quality of continuing vocational training, promoting and consolidating the contribution of vocational training to innovation processes.
The aim was to develop a European standard for the authentication and evaluation of e-learning.
To this end, the project tested the use of new technologies, in particular:
- biometric devices used to scan and analyze human characteristics;
- use of digital signatures in encrypted digital transactions such as those used by public infrastructures;
- forensic network analysis to analyze the use of the internet through the use of computers and network identifiers;
- smart cards with built-in microprocessors similar to those used in security systems with passwords.
The institutions and organizations that have benefited from project results are: Colleges, Universities, Training Bodies, employers, organizations, voluntary communities and other social partners such as trade unions.
